Activities
In Normandy there is an abundance of activities and attractions. Children are welcomed everywhere and are included in all activities.
There is excellent sailing along the coast and Sea festivals during the summer. There are golf courses throughout the region.
Equestrian farms provide horse riding and organise treks to riders of all abilities.
For the young or young at heart there is go-karting, bungee jumping or scable (canoeing and riding mild rapids)

For those who prefer milder activities there are numerous historical sites and chateau to explore.

There are good fishing lakes and rivers.
It is a quiet rural community and the pace of life is 'peaceful'. It is ideal for walking and cycling holidays.

For those who wish to go to the coast, Normandy has miles of safe sandy beaches.

Normandy
To the north is Bayeaux with its famous tapestry, beautiful cathedral and quaint shopping streets.

There is also the Battle of Normandy Museum and the Normandy landing beaches.
To the southwest are Mont-St. Michel and St. Malo.

In the west are some beautiful beaches along the Contentin Peninsular.
To the east is the Suisse-Normand with stunning scenery and picturesque villages along the Orne Valley. All are within easy driving distance.

Climate
The climate is maritime. It has warm summers with temperatures often reaching 30 degrees C.

Fields of grazing cattle, sheep, horses and apple orchards surround our property.
Add to this beautiful forest walks, lakes, wonderful restaurants or just relaxing at your holiday home... we would like to welcome you to the delights of your holiday in Normandy.

Local Towns
Nearby are St Sever, Vire and Villedieu Les Poeles, each of which has supermarkets and there is also a small village shop.
Vire is famous for its black and white puddings and has a market every Friday.

Villedieu Les Poeles is known for the manufacture of copper and pewter items and has a market every Tuesday.

Calvados
Calvados is named after the famous apple brandy that is distilled there.
Calvados, as well as wine is consumed traditionally between courses. Cafe-Calva is a popular custom in cafes as well as at the table.
