George East and Donella, his wife live in Normandy on the Cotentin Peninsular. George has written a series of books about their life, finding and being able to live at their home Le Moulin de la Puce (The mill of the Flea) and the characters that have become their friends.
Chris Wheeler had a dream of living in France. He and his lovely wife Vanessa bought a house in need of a lot of restoration, La Valaiserie in a village not far from our own. This is their story in diary form. If you look carefully you will find references to our project at La Denillière.
